Brackett Partners has a wealth of experience as a Building Contractor, specializing in Renovation and remodelling, whether we are adding a new floor to an existing home, building an addition, raising the house and creating a basement, or just doing a simple bathroom makeover, our experience in these fields is extensive. 

After starting out in West Vancouver Canada back in 2001 building multiple custom homes for British Pacific Properties and as far afield as the gulf islands, we slowly pulled back from the new build market and spent the last 12 years remodelling.

Renovating a home is a series of very complex steps that require the leadership and management team to have a real understanding and alignment with project planning. The fundamentals in fact of any successful project are firmly rooted within the planning process. Starting with a consultation, we learn and gather information, what is the project vision (Big Picture) and from this, we break things down into small sections, from structural design, layout, functionality, materials, timeline, and budget.

This is all low-level information gathering at this stage, but we can still develop a feasibility study based on the gathered information. 

While not every project requires introducing a designer, once all this information and data is gathered, we decide at this point to either introduce a designer (highly recommended) or to go ahead and develop a quote based upon the information at hand. 

These are not just ideal scenarios but fundamental steps in our process, that will ultimately craft the project roadmap, and deliver us a realistic project timeline and ultimately a true well-defined budget, ensuring from the client to the entire team and our sub-trade partners, including the material supply chain, we are all aligned and aware of the project's vision and scope of work and timeline.

We truly believe in our process and have proven time and again, that through detailed discovery, we utilize this information to generate what is not just end results, but a clear predetermined outcome.
